ClearScore moves house
This week we waved goodbye to our old office, and reflect on how quickly things have changed.
This week the ClearScore team waved goodbye to our Lambeth Road offices and relocated to an exciting new space in Vauxhall, South West London.
This move marks a major milestone for ClearScore, and reminds us just how far we’ve come since we launched in 2015. It was only a year ago that we made the move from a tiny start-up office in Hammersmith to a great office near the Thames.
When we first moved there were only 23 members of staff and it seemed impossible that we would ever outgrow that space. Everyone sat at desks upstairs and the ground floor was used exclusively as a place to eat lunch, chill out, and as a storage facility for Justin’s eBay furniture finds.
Since then our team has grown and grown. We slowly began to spread over the two floors. Our desks got closer together; bookshelves, tables and sofas were relegated to storage, and our beer fridge got a bit smaller. But we were also able to welcome over 60 fantastic new people to the ClearScore family, all of whom brought their own unique skills, passions and sense of humour to the team.
Eventually, the space that had seen us through an amazing period of growth became too small for comfort. For many, leaving that building was emotional; it’s been a great home and has been there with us through glorious successes and the inevitable challenges. But at the same time it’s incredibly exciting for us all as we move onwards and upwards.
Justin sees this new office as ‘a blank canvas for us to build great things’ and we can’t wait to make this new office feel like home (including the roof terrace in summer).
At the moment the new space seems impossibly large, and it’s hard to imagine ever feeling cramped here. But ClearScore is growing fast as we seem to say hello to new starters every week. We have a feeling that we won’t be in this new place for too long…
